Atoor Refractories Co. manufactures a comprehensive range of tundish nozzles used for the continuous casting of steel. Magnesia stabilized zirconia bore is the key to our high performance tundish nozzles. Nozzles are supplied with a high purity zirconia bore (96% ZrO₂), enclosed within a high alumina well block.
The outer body can be either casted or pressed around the zirconia nozzle:
The co-pressing method allows nozzles to be manufactured without any mortar for joining which will result in superior mechanical resistance at high temperatures.
