Atoor Refractories Co. manufactures and supplies both chromite and olivine sands for different applications. In taphole fillers which are in contact with molten steel while tapping, a sintered layer is formed to prevent molten steel from down-penetrating. The rest of taphole filler under the sintered layer can smoothly flow out while opening the support plate, and shortly the sintered layer will be broken under the help of the pressure of molten steel. Our series of taphole fillers for EBT and ladle slide gate show the features of high self-open rate, easy installation and safety.
