Atoor Refractories Co. mould fluxes are available in powder form and are applied to the mould during the continuous casting process of steel making. This product maintains the surface temperature of molten steel, preventing the steel from re-oxidation, and works as a lubricant between the casting mould and solidified steel shell.

Our Mould Flux are designed after in-depth study of our customers operational parameters such as carbon content, casting speed and section size, so that they can significantly improve the quality of the steel and also yield higher productivity. Our mould flux are designed in such a way to have uniform melting temperature range, most desired viscosity, slag thickness and optimum melting rate. These parameters varies according to casting conditions and grades of cast steel and needs to be adjusted suitably to achieve better surface quality of the final product and higher productivity.
